2008 Team Preview: Denver Broncos – AFC West

Key Additions: Darrell Jackson (WR), Keary Colbert (WR), Casey Wiegmann (C), Dewayne Robertson (DT), Boss Bailey (LB), Marlon McCree (FS)

A lot of changes for the Broncos going into 08-09 – plenty of new faces.  And after a dissapointing season last year after significant injury concerns plaugued this team all season long the changes are likely welcome.

The concern I have is that I’m not too impressed with most of the free agents they brought in and I’m not convinced they’ve addressed needs at WR and defensive line.  However being healthy this year should help and hopefully for their sake key guys can stay healthy.

Broncos might be a bit better but they still aren’t a great team.  We’ll be watching the lines closely when we make our weekly nfl picks as previously the Broncos got too much credit for being home.  This big home field advantage has slipped but we believe the spreads may have caught up offering less value playing against Denver at home (once unheard of!).
