College Football Picks – Week 1 – Saturday 9/4/10

Nice way to start my CFB picks with an easy win on Thursday night.  Here’s what I like Saturday:

Western Michigan/Michigan State OVER 51
Both teams more then capable of putting up at least 28 points each.

Akron +8.5
Akron always tough at home and will be fired up for the opener against a Syracuse team that although should be better this season not ready for double digit road wins against a fundamentally sound team.

Wisconsin -20
Not only does Wisconsin feast on rolling up big wins against undersized defenses, they always fit the parameters of the system play that gave me the big Ohio St win on Thursday.

North Texas +27
Clemson is very impressive, yes but North Texas has enough fight in them to stay close against a Clemson squad who will put it in cruise control early.
