I’ll have more later this week but with everybody else seemingly on Indy I like the Saints and the points. Maybe I believe in destiny too much or maybe it is the complete lack of a run game for the Colts but lets not be too quick to just hand the trophy to Petting Manning.

NY Jets +7.5
UNDER 39
The Jets have the 2 elements needed – especially in the post season – to be in and possibly win any game against any team. We saw exactly this last week in a big upset. So why not again.

New Orleans Saints -3.5
OVER 53
Love the Brett Favre story but the Saints at their best are too good through the area and this is the weakness of the Vikings D if they can’t pressure on the QB and the game plan I expect to see from the Saints will get the ball out quick to make sure the Vikings D-line doesn’t kill Drew Brees. Favre has the arm and magic to keep up for a while (thus the over play) but the Vikings can’t survive a shootout on the road against this team.

NFL Picks Week 15

Dallas Cowboys +7.5
Saints have stumbled lately and it seems Dallas is at their best when nobody gives them a chance.

Cowboys/Saints OVER 53
This almost seems too easy – Saints could get to 53 on their own!

Tennessee Titans -3
Their ground game is too good to not bet on this team at home right now.

Philadelphia Eagles -9
Philly playing their best football right and San Fran in a tough spot after a MNF game and long trip.

Minnesota Vikings -9
Vikings have way too much balance on offense for the Panthers to stop and the Carolina offense just can’t get going.

I had a few people questioning that I only put up 2 picks this week.

My thoughts are simply this – I only post games on this website that I feel strongly about – that I put my money on. Games that I have a lot of confidence can be winning wagers. Not every game presents a good opportunity to make money with a bet. I pick the game I think I can win with….like yesterday, Week 14 of the NFL when I only posted 2 picks and won them both. I think 2 winners is a lot better than picks on all the games that can’t possibly all win.

Tennessee Titans -6
If they can bounce back after their playoff dreams took a huge hit last week they’ll have little trouble with the Rams.

San Diego Chargers +3
Chargers are playing much better lately and Dallas has not performed well against the best teams on their schedule.

It’s lean pickings this week – only 2 games I really like!

My NFL Picks for Sunday – Week 13

Oakland Raiders +14
Steelers struggling with or without Big Ben, Raiders run well enough to stay without shouting distance.

Cincinnati Bengals -13
Looks like Benson will be back and the Lions have no answer for the balance Cinncy brings on offense.

Tampa Bay Buccs +6.5
Carolina not a TD better than anybody in the league.

College Football Picks – December 5th, 2009

Here are my picks for the last regular games of the college football season

South Florida +7.5
The South Florida football team got off to a tough start this season and many forgot about them but they have quietly been improving the 2nd half of the season. They’ll keep this one close and could pull the upset SU in this one!

Washington +7
Another dog I like playing at home against an inconsistent Cal team that might be without Best.

Florida -5.5
I’ve struggled with my pick in this game all week – but a lot of you e-mailed and asked specifically about this game. I see A LOT rather even in this game so it’s tempting to take the points. But the one thing I don’t see as even is at QB, thus the play has to be on the Gators, covering late 24-17.

Week 12 of the NFL Season….here are my picks – good luck!

Cincinnati Bengals -14
Bengals will bounce back here and with the Browns only offense coming vs Detroit don’t expect Cleveland to be around very long.

Panthers/Jets UNDER 41
Neither team has been very good on offense with any consistency so a low scoring game looks like a strong play.

Kansas City Chiefs +13.5
KC playing better and SD very likely flat here.

College Football Picks – November 28th, 2009

Season is nearly over but that means bowl games will soon be here!

TCU -44.5
I don’t see why they won’t just keep hammering everybody in their way.

Oklahoma State +7.5
Sooners coming apart at the seems on both sides of the ball, OSU playing for a shot at the BCS.

Navy -9.5
Navy will be able to move the ball on offense and with long drives keep the Rainbows D off the field.

NFL Picks for Week 11

NFL picks against the spread for week 11…..

Jacksonville Jaguars -8.5
Jags will have their running game in this one and the Bills offense needs more than a coaching and QB change to turn things around.

Cardinals/Rams OVER 46.5
Arizona offense looking better every week so expect them to roll up some points, however their D still has plenty of holes.
