NFL Week 1 Predicitions – Thursday Night Football

I’ll have more NFL and college football picks posted soon but wanted to get our NFL opening night prediction up with plenty of notice.

New York Giants -4.5 over Washington
The defending champs look like the solid play here.  As stated in our preview we don’t expect the Giants to return the Super Bowl – in fact they may miss the playoffs.  But they look like the far superior team in this one and they’re at home with the spotlight on them.  The Redskins will need some time to adjust to a new system and will struggle; especially early in the season.
